If it ain't one thing...

Good Morning! Every now and then when I feel like wasting time, I pop on here and add more useless blather that nobody is ever going to read. But hey, wait a minute...Aren't YOU reading this right now? Then perhaps I was not wasting my time after all! (Sorry that it's still useless blather.)

Mt. Lafayette--Range of Mountains

August 27, 2005

Mt. Lafayette
OOPS! I'm not entirely sure what range this is, but considering this photo was in my camera right after the Mt. Lafayette one, it seems safe to assume that we are looking at the same range. If that's correct, then the larger mountain on the center-left is Mt. Lafayette. (I'll ask my knowledgeable "mountain guide" Sarah.)

When Sarah and I hiked, we reached the summit of Mt. Lafayette, then trudged rightwards for Mt. Lincoln & Little Haystack (Well, we both didn't "trudge"--I plodded, dragged, crawled; she skipped, hopped & energetically bounced forward. Can I blame this on my age? If anyone has a good excuse for me, I'd appreciate your passing it my way!)

The following link brings you to a great site that describes the trail Sarah and I took, and the mountains upon which we ascended (& and, of course...descended.)
