If it ain't one thing...

Good Morning! Every now and then when I feel like wasting time, I pop on here and add more useless blather that nobody is ever going to read. But hey, wait a minute...Aren't YOU reading this right now? Then perhaps I was not wasting my time after all! (Sorry that it's still useless blather.)

Build Me an Ark

I wish I had my "real" camera to take "real good" pictures of the flood today. But, then, I did have to be at work anyway, so I guess it wasn't meant to be. (I absolutely hate it when people use that expression!)

I grabbed a few photos with my cheap digital camera before seeking out a new route to take to work.

This photo shows water running off the edge of the road.

A Google search will result in many news articles about the local flood problem here in Central Massachusetts. One excerpt from the Boston Globe:

Romney Declares State of Emergency; Flooding Forces Evacuations

--October 15, 2005
--Governor Mitt Romney declared a state of emergency in Massachusetts on Saturday after heavy rain and flooding snarled traffic, closed roads and forced hundreds to evacuate their homes because of rising water.
